Our Mission

“Empowered to Serve God, Love All, and
Introduce Christ to the Community”

Our Leadership Team has prayerfully discerned our strategy to continue bringing up disciples of Jesus who are empowered to serve God, love all, and introduce Christ to the community. We celebrate the victories of this past year while also staying faithful in our pursuit of God and mission to see even more lives come to know Jesus! Join us in this Spirit-led journey by generously contributing to this mission.

Strategic Ministry Plan

A. To provide relevant, energizing, and Gospel-based worship
every week for our congregation both online and in person.
Last year we held 55 in person services with an average attendance of 84 people who gathered to praise God, fellowship around the hospitality area, be moved by the hymns and spiritual songs, encounter the Spirit, and hear the gospel preached by a kid in red tennis shoes. Week after week many of those in attendance made decisions to turn around and be found by the grace of Jesus! READ MORE>>>

Budget Total – $96,138

B. To provide appropriate, inspiring, cooperative, and
Gospel-based opportunities for Spiritual growth.
Last year we held 8 weekly small groups where 90 people gathered to fellowship, seek God's wisdom, pray for one another, share their challenges, develop stronger community, and grow in their relationship with Jesus! READ MORE>>>

Budget Total – $83,849

C. To share our faith by caring for the least, the last,
the lost, and
the lonely in our church and our community.
This year we contributed food and resources to provide groceries for 80 families a month in our community through the Food Pantry. That is approximately 50,000lbs of food a year. Through our Loads of Love ministry, we provided 100 bags of detergent to these families with enough for each family to do a month’s worth of laundry. That is an average of 2,500 loads. Our backpack food program at Gandy Elementary provided 10 children weekend meals to take home regularly totally around 800lbs of food for the fall semester alone. Our children’s ministry took a trip to the laundry mat next to the church this summer and paid for each family’s load of laundry. READ MORE>>>

Budget Total – $77,734

D. To strengthen the global mission of the
United Methodist Church to make disciples of Jesus!

Through our tithe (10%) to the Arkansas Conference each month we are working to make disciples of Jesus Christ all over the world. READ MORE>>>

Budget Total – $23,930

E. To steward God's gifts faithfully, fulfill our current
financial commitments, and plan for what God has next!

In 2021, our church's finance goals were to save at least $45,000 to offset our typical operating expenses for a duration of time and then to focus on paying off our debt. READ MORE>>>

Budget Total – $21,500

In order for us to grow we have to be be able to trust one another. Trust is only grown through vulnerability. Pastor Doug believes that for congregants to trust the pastor when talking about their finances, the pastor has to be first to show their finances. So if you'd like to see Pastor Doug's 2021 financial profit and loss, credit score, and current debt balances click here.

If you are needing help getting out of debt, budgeting, creating margin and saving money, or just general financial help please contact the church office or Pastor Doug and we will be happy to look into what resources we can provide to help you!
